I have a Kindergartner that is a really big reader. He loves nonfiction books so I thought these 1st grade books would be a great way to get him some quick Geography lessons. These books are really short... Like 18 pages short. That is my only complaint. When we were done reading it my son just kind of looked at me like "that's it?" haha. It is a very basic book. The vocabulary is kind of big but it has really great explanations for the words. It might actually be geared more toward the Kindergarten audience. Which actually worked out great for me!
The pictures are really great. Some are very simple and others are quite detailed. My son enjoyed looking at them and asking questions and pointing out little things in each one. We are very big fans of ebooks. Just know that this book wouldn't be very good on the paperwhite (black and white version) because this book is in color and it just wouldn't look that great. We have used it on the ipad and the computer and it looks great. I love that I can load a bunch of these types of books up onto my ipad for trips and he has the ability to flip through tons of books without the huge bag of books! Having a big variety of books on hand at all times, especially education books like this are always a plus. I highly recommend you get a wide variety of the books to keep you children entertained!

I found this book "Let's Explore Australia (Most Famous Attractions in Australia Australia Travel Guide while searching for books to share with my daughter about upcoming trips we will be having. This is part of a great series collection by Baby Professor which shows many different countries around the world.
This a fun book to share with my little one. The pictures are very detailed with high resolution and bright beautiful colors. With each photograph, there are short and concise descriptions of what the child is seeing which can help spark conversations of what there is to see.
I have visited not had the chance to visit Australia before and was looking forward to sharing the experience with my daughter when we visit it in the future. This has opened our eyes to what we will see and are so excited! Australia is such a beautiful country, I feel that even the pictures don't do it justice.
The beautiful pictures from Fraser Island which is one of the most popular islands in Australia, River Torrens is the most significant river of the Adelaide Plains and divides the city center from North Adelaide,Gold Coast is a coastal city with beautiful beaches in the southeastern Queensland on the east coast of Australia, Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbor, Port Douglas is a town in Far North Queensland, Australia which is near the Great Barrier Reef and it has many restaurants, walks, golf courses, and five star resort, Kangaroo Island is one of South Australia's most popular tourist attraction because it is well known for it's nature and wildlife, Kakadu National Park is a protected area in the Northern Territory of Australia which has many beautiful waterfalls and gorges within the park that are popular to tourist, Blue Mountains National Park is a protected national park that is located in the Blue Mountains region of New South wales, Broome is a coastal tourist town in the Kimberley region which has the Cable Beach where tourist go to ride camels into the sunset, Uluru is one of the world's largest monoliths where one of the rock's peculiarities is that it changes colors dramatically at sunset from terra cotta to blue to violet and red, Canberra is the capital city of Australia and it is one of the most beautiful, cleanest, secure and hospitable capital cities in the world.
Melborne is the most populated city in the Australia state of Victoria. It is considered the Australia's unofficial sporting capital, Darwin Wharf Precint is one of Darwin's most popular waterfront venues among tourists and locals alike.
For those that may never get the chance to travel to this beautiful country, this can help spark your child's imagination of what the world looks like. I really enjoyed this book and I know you will too.
